Determining values with if statements, compound multiplication and additions with potential for lookup options.

I would like to create an if statement and based on the results complete compound multiplication and addition.  Using a lookup is also an option.

I have provided some sample data and explaination below.  Acknowledging that Step 1 is a simple if statement and Step 3 is a simple addition formula, I am focused more on obtaining your suggestions for Step 2 or a creative suggestion for combining some or
all of the three steps.

Sample:
Cell A1 = 600
Cell A2 = 500
Increase criteria = 15%
Potential iIncrease = 5%
Term 3 years

Step 1 - Determine payment adjustment requirement.
- Calculate the difference between cell A1 and A2
RESULT: 100
SHOW in cell A3: 100
- If A3 is less than 15% of cell A2, then "No action required increase does not exceed 15%"
- If A3 is equal to or greater than 15% of cell A2, then "Adjustment required increase is equal to or greater than 15%" and complete Step 2.
OR combine calculations and SHOW A3 as "No adjustment required" or "Adjustment required"

Step 2 - Determine compound value at 5% over 3 years and adjustment value
- Calculate compound value of A1 by 5% compounded over 3 years
RESULTS:
Year 1 = 30 (600 * 1.05 = 630 - 600)
Year 2 = 61.50 (630 *1.05 = 661.50 - 600)
Year 3 = 94.58 (661.50 * 1.05 =  694.58 - 600)
SHOW: Cell A4 as 186.08
- Calculate equal adjustment value A4 divided by 3 years
RESULT: 62.03 (186.08 / 3)
SHOW: Cell B4 as 62 (rounded down to the nearest dollar)
OR combine calculations and SHOW A4 as 62

Step 3 - Determine new payment amount
- Calculate A2 plus adjustement value (B4 or A4)
RESULT: 562 (500 + 62)
SHOW: Cell A5 or B5 as 562
